Xing kiln: Xing kiln, the most famous White porcelain kiln in Tang Dynasty, located in Qi village, Lincheng county of Hebei province. The roughcast of such porcelain was hard and delicate. Its unpainted clay idol was white and fine. Such products are always in simple style without any pattern. They have thick ring roof and flat bottom some of which were cut a bevel in the periphery. The porcelain of Xing kiln were created in early Tang Dynasty, flourished in middle Tang Dynasty and universally accepted during Kaiyuan and Zhenyuan period. In Late Tang Dynasty, it declined because of the appearance of Ding kiln products.   Top

Changsha kiln: It located in Tongguan town, Changsha city of Hunan province. It appeared in mid Tang dynasty, flourished in late Tang and ended in Five Dynasties. It was an important celadon kiln in south China at that time. The most remarkable achievement of Changsha kiln is the decoration including molded appliqu¨¦, calico-printing, moulded calico-printing, incised decoration and paste-on-paste. Moreover, underglaze was initially painted in Changsha kiln. The products of Changsha kiln were sold to some Asian countries, such as Korea, Japan, Iran and so on. Especially in late Tang Dynasty, its products became the main exports in China.  Top

Deqing kiln: It located in southeast of Deqing county, Zhejiang province. It was a kiln where black porcelain and celadon were both fired. It was one of the birthplaces of black porcelain which was first discovered in Zhejiang province. Its history added up to almost 100 years, which was from East Jin to early South Dynasty. What is more, they are widely sold and had a great impact.  Top

Yue kiln: Yue kiln refers to the early porcelain kiln of Shaoxing and Shangyu and Yuezhou of Tang and Song Dynasty. The history of such porcelain lasted more than 1000 years, from East Han to Song Dynasty and its scale kept on expanding. The skill in producing porcelain was improved continuously and it has experienced several stages such as creation, development, flourish and declination. In Tang dynasty, Yue kiln developed rapidly and the celadon of Yue kiln represented the highest level of celadon at that time. What is more, a new kind of product---secret color, which was created in Tang Dynasty, was regarded as tribute. The products of Yue kiln were sold well home and abroad. The inheritances of Yue kiln were found in India, Iran, Egypt and Japan etc.      Top

Wuzhou kiln: Wuzhou kiln, the famous ancient kiln, located in Jinhua district, the center of Zhejiang province. It developed constantly right after its foundation in Shanguo and its kilns distributed throughout Jinhua district in Tang and Song Dynasty. The products of Wuzhou kiln mostly belonged to daily-used porcelain. It was always in practical and generous style. But it was plain and short of change. The decoration of the porcelain was all of carved pattern.   Top

Jianyang kiln: It was an ancient kiln famous for its black porcelain. It located in Jianyang county, Fujian province. Celadon was firstly fired in Jianyang kiln in Tang Dynasty. The most famous product was black glazed porcelain, which was usually called "Rabbit-fur" but called "Sky-eye" by Japanese. Moreover, there were some other kinds of black glaze such as partridge mottles, oil-spot glaze and tortoise-shell spot etc.Top
